Challenge
Wallbox needed custom features that could optimise the experience within their smartwatch ecosystem and the interaction between a wearable device and the charger itself. With a clear focus on functionality the flows were thought with the main features of the states of the physical EV chargers, limiting the features was key to a better experience on a wearable device given the technical and security constrains of the chargers hardware.

Approach
The ask was to elevate the design elements with an already first draft of the components created in past iterations, taking into account the limitations that the smart watch presents, with that in mind we preserved the waves animation to denote the status of both the charger and the smart watch control, weaving accessibility and color contrast in the foundations of the atomic components.
This led to the Design of both iOS and Android smartwatches to better assess the experience on both platforms, the components were tweaked to best adapt to each platform and documentation was created on Storybook to enhance communications between the Dev and Design teams.
